Well, did you think I was going to show you the whole building? Nope. I want you to work at the contest. Here’s today’s hint: London is standing in front of our studio. She’s a companion and one of the shop dogs of our very cool neighbors. Oh, and the studio is wheelchair accessible [...] Mucow, says, “I do, I do!” What a delightful guy this puppy was. Active, yet well-mannered. Just a joy. Can’t we all just get along? Come on, that’s funny … We’ve spoken of auto grouping methods before. Baskets, boxes and even rolling up fabric can be used to group multiple animals in a shot. The smaller the container, the closer you can get them. Will ya looka da size a deese? So sweet. So young; 7 weeks. Not even jumping around much. But they didn’t quite know what to make of the photog and all her equipment. We had plenty of help with this shoot. The more subjects…the more assistance needed, unless you opt to pays ya money and [...] And so they are. This is Dixie and Bella. Dixie is the older of the two and is teaching Bella the ropes. They both have been socialized by their mom and dad incredibly well and will do almost anything they’re asked. Although they don’t seem to be having the time of their lives at the [...] This was a gumby-dog shoot. In past posts I’ve suggested that if a good composition has your subjects evenly spaced, a better one would be with them close enough to touch. The closer the better for my taste. If the subjects just sit there and let you place them anywhere and hold still just as [...] Slobber alert! Slobber alert! You can guess this guy’s name. Go ahead try. I’ll start you, G-G-Gah… Not yet? Galoot? Galumph? Nope. When I tell you, you’re going to say, of course! Meet Gunther. Uh huh. He virtually filled the studio with slobber. Still want to be a pet photographer? His mom and dad carry [...] Meet GiGi and her first litter of babies. For some of us these four legged folks are our children. Some really special grandparents realize that their only grandchildren will grow to love rubber balls in their mouths and eat from a dish on the floor.
