Joey the Pom and Molly, identified as a Choweenie, by her mom, are well-loved house mates who like each other too. I know Molly is supposed to be part Chow, but you couldn’t prove it by me. She looks pretty dang Weenie, huh? No matter, they both are adorable. You met Nikki as a good citizen in the Good Citizenship post. She’s a tiny sweet Pomeranian who is kept clipped short most of the year. I’ve mentioned this before, but to me Poms seem to have a built-in halo around their heads. I know Nikki does. “…of every stray lies the singular desire to be loved.” These words were stamped on the bottom of a forwarded email message recently. Across our desks in all occupations, and in all walks of life, we are bombarded by messages. Sometimes even the most compelling and demanding of these messages falls away as we try [...] Think of Paris. Eiffel Tower. Romantic walks along the Seine; wearing a beret, perhaps. The Musee du Louvre . This would be really funny if you could hear me say it. Give me a call, and to brighten your day I will speak in non-sensical French for you. I also speak fluent non-sensical [...] There’s something about a smiling Pom, isn’t there? No other dog does it as well. Oh, don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love the other breeds and mixes just as much, but the smile, dear reader, the little mouth before the tongue curls, now that’s just plain compelling. They give me that feeling of wanting [...] These two Pomeranian boys, Cubby & Barnaby, have not spent a moment of time with Don Henley worries of middle age, but they certainly are boys of summer. As cute as buttons, they seem to be ready for the luau. Meet Cosmo. Mr. Photogenic. We always hope to get good shots with these doggles, but most dogs do not like them. Cosmo didn’t seem to mind and he was ever so handsome showing them off. As odd as it might seem, I’m going to recommend their use in some circumstances (other than the occasional photograph). [...] |
