Oh yeah, that’s [...] Joey the Pom and Molly, identified as a Choweenie, by her mom, are well-loved house mates who like each other too. I know Molly is supposed to be part Chow, but you couldn’t prove it by me. She looks pretty dang Weenie, huh? No matter, they both are adorable. Well here’s Buzz. No, not the buzz, but Buzz, a raucous LSU fan. Okay, so he doesn’t really know what LSU is, but his mom does, and that’s all that matters. He just wants to be close to her regardless of who’s on TV! You see what I mean about posing to accent a certain quality? Yes, you would have seen Fritz’s entire length had I posed him broadside to the camera, but this gentles a more contrived angle, in my opinion. Yet we see his length in spades. I’ve always loved this portrait. Even his tiny tongue is [...] Here’s an example of rules are meant to be broken. I’ve found that most portraits of groups of animals are more striking when the subjects are posed close together. Touching. These three girls might have been even more stunning if I was able to make that perfect capture with these expressions, but what struck me [...] This very diverse family arrived for their close-up ready to pose, don’t you think? Their proud dad is probably receiving cards, gifts and kisses on this day, celebrating his commitment to raising a family…of whatever life he chooses. Sisters Pet Pics recognizes all those men who open their hearts and resources to raising children of [...] Duke arrived in our studio a month ago in his mom’s arms with his two house-mates and his human parents for what would be his last portrait. Soon after the shoot his family lost him to what most pets will succumb to in the age of improved veterinary medicine, old age. He just plumb wore [...] Meet Dottie, a sweet black and tan Miniature Dachshund. She arrived in our studio with her red, long haired Dachshund house-sister, Scarlet. What a photogenic pair they were. I post Dottie today to illustrate another example of what may happen when you color outside the lines, so to speak.
