I know I’ve mentioned our clients as the best pet people in the world, but they are also some of the most creative folks out there as well. Meet Bree, Australian Cattle Dog. She is owned and bred by one of our clients. I know Bree and other Cattle Dog house mates are shown in [...] It was always my intent to gather images of all the so-called bully breeds we have photographed over the years and dedicate a section on Sisters Pet Pics studio web site to them. Though there seems to be some argument about who falls into that group, there does seem to be consensus about the Bulldog, [...] Meet Dottie, a sweet black and tan Miniature Dachshund. She arrived in our studio with her red, long haired Dachshund house-sister, Scarlet. What a photogenic pair they were. I post Dottie today to illustrate another example of what may happen when you color outside the lines, so to speak. When Terry and I opened Sisters [...] Meet Cosmo. Mr. Photogenic. We always hope to get good shots with these doggles, but most dogs do not like them. Cosmo didn’t seem to mind and he was ever so handsome showing them off. As odd as it might seem, I’m going to recommend their use in some circumstances (other than the occasional photograph). [...] Said Macho; befitting name for the little guy on the right. Don’t you even think about taking my picture Mrs. Lady. But we did, in the blink of an eye, before he could jump off the table. See those intensity wrinkles on his brow? Meet Mango. A more gorgeous bird will be difficult to find. He’s precocious and sweet, outgoing and just a little bit flaky, but always a small magnificent bundle of feathers. He arrived at Sisters Pet Pics studio with his family in tow, mom, dad and dogs and thought the world was [...] Sometimes your shot plan will include a list of journalistic shots that tell a story of the activity. They can be every bit as appealing as a staged formal portrait. You would probably never list a shot like this, “Try to get a shot of a puppy training class graduation with the subject pulling the [...] Meet Abby, the Brussels Griffon. I know, I know, she’s got that fly-away look, but if you’re not an AKC judge (and how many of us are one of those?), you can’t help but smile at her obvious personality. I happen to love her look, although you won’t find her listed in the examples of [...] |
