And Sister does. Her mom pushes her in her stroller and they go everywhere. Why wouldn’t they? Sister is as well behaved as a Yorkie can be and yet her gorgeous coat does not slow her down as she loves to play. I know it might seem as if I only get the most wonderful animals in our studio…well it’s true! It’s not that they have the “book learning” of pointed obedience trained dogs, it’s just that they’re special. They are the most loved and appreciated of our domestic animals. Let’s face it, people don’t bring their pets to be professionally photographed unless they are regarded as family members…and that makes those folks my kind of people.
I didn’t use any tricks and I really don’t have any tips for this one. Sister is just one of the folks who loves to play dress up (but stick around because I’ll post a naked shot of her in a future post). Her mom makes the hats and adorns the dresses to match. She listens and obeys better than a five year old child. I just had her sit and walked her mom around the room so I could get different head positions. So if you want a shoot this easy, I’m afraid you’ll need to invite Sister over for an afternoon.
Exif: 1/250, f11, ISO 200. You may not get this exact shot in your practice with your dog, but you can try. You can’t have it unless you can dream it.
